I was itching to do this sequence the whole time. So much so that it came about five pages early, and I had to find a new way to end the story. Gotta give creds to Gibson, though. This scene was pretty much his idea, though he probably won't remember. Booze'll do that to ya.

i... feel his pain... eugh. it ...hurts.

i can't imagine how strange that must feel - trying to kill yourself over and over again and failing :d

what exactly is he doing in the fifth panel, though? i can't really tell what's going on with the tongue-shaped thing between him and the wall.

but seriously. i'm loving this. i could have never come up with this in 24 hours. *clapclapclap*

ColdTurkey> The tongue-shaped thing is his arm. There's two right arms there, just to show he's doing the action repeatedly.

I have to say I really enjoy this story, but it seems like last years 24 hour comic was alot cleaner looking. Was this intentional or were last year's pages cleaned up in post-production?

Thunderstrike> Last year's was done on comic-board sized sheets of paper, whereas this one was done on much smaller paper, the size of actual comic pages. Therefore these scans weren't shrunk down enough to hide all the imperfections, but the smaller paper size allowed me to do pages far quicker than on the big paper.

Man, I remember screaming at SOMEONE to beat their head against a wall until they died, but I didn't think it was you.
